If you've witnessed vandalism or discovered damage in your neighbourhood, it's important to report it to the police. But you can also report to your local council.

This includes damage to public spaces such as parks, bus shelters and bins, as well as graffiti on public property.

You can find out how to report vandalism to your local council by clicking here., external

Simply enter your postcode and you'll be directed to your local council, where you can find out how to report the damage.

Try to provide as much information as possible, including the location, photographs and details of what's happened.

Even if the damage seems minor, reporting it can help your council identify problems in your area and decide where action might be needed.
