The attack happened in the Ballycoleman area of Strabane
A car has been "substantially" damaged after a pipe bomb attack in Strabane.
The device exploded inside the vehicle which was parked in the Ballycolman area of the town on Wednesday night.
A gang of four masked men smashed one of the car's windows and threw the bomb inside shortly after midnight.
A number of people, including elderly residents and children, had to leave their homes while police examined the car. They have since been allowed to return to their homes.
