Twenty people have been ordained as deacons or priests at Leicester Cathedral.
The ceremonies, performed by the Bishop of Leicester, Rt Rev Tim Stevens, took place on Saturday and Sunday.
Nine people have become deacons and 11, who were made deacons last year, have been made full priests.
They will now become stipendiary full-time paid clergy or work in a self-supporting capacity in a parish.
Bishop Stevens said: "That so many people are hearing the call of God to Priesthood in the church is a cause of great celebration.
"Many of them have come out of secular employment in a wide variety of roles, and we rejoice that they're prepared to commit their lives to God and people in this way."
People have to undergo at least three years of training with the church to be ordained.
