Yajay Sudra was making his way home when he was murdered
A 21-year-old man has died of chest injuries following an incident in Birmingham.
A murder inquiry is under way after Yajay Sudra, thought to be on his way home from a night out, died in Erdington on Friday night.
A large stretch of Marsh Lane is closed as forensic investigations take place.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious, such as a struggle or fight, in the Marsh Lane area last night.
Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination is due to take place.
