Chancellor Osborne visits remote China region
Chancellor George Osborne has made a controversial visit to a remote Chinese region as part of his tour of the country.
He is the first UK minister to visit Xinjiang province, and campaigners have urged him to raise concerns about the treatment of the area's Muslim Uighur minority.
Speaking during the visit there, he said he raised the issue of human rights "in the context of economic development".
