Carphone Warehouse apology to customers for data breach
The high street chain Carphone Warehouse has apologised to millions of its customers who may have had their personal details stolen by hackers in a sophisticated cyber-attack.
The data could include names, addresses and date of births, as well as bank and credit card details of millions of customers.
The security breach was discovered on Wednesday but the company only released details about it on Saturday afternoon.
