Why has the price of diesel fallen?
The average price of a litre of diesel has fallen to its lowest level in more than five-and-a-half years.
The price has dropped below £1.13 a litre for the first time since January 2010.
The recent fall in prices means that diesel is, on average, cheaper than petrol for the first time in well over a decade, as Ben Thompson explains.
