Ofqual tightens four key GCSE subjects
The regulator for exams in England, Ofqual, has ordered changes to four key subjects including maths and English literature, to make sure pupils study the whole curriculum, rather than what is likely to come up on the test.
Ofqual chief executive Glenys Stacey and Alice Hudson, headteacher at Twyford Church of England High School, spoke to BBC Breakfast about why it is important to ensure teaching is not simply targeted to passing exams.
