Charity warns against budget cuts to children centres

A leading charity has warned that cuts in funding to children's centres could damage hundreds of thousands of families, and end up costing the government more than it saves.

The charity 4Children claims that the majority of centres face cuts for the fourth year running, and are having to reduce opening hours, as well as charge for previously free services.
