With less than a week until the 2016 Scottish Parliament election, BBC Scotland hosted the final leaders' debate at Hopetoun House in South Queensferry. Here's a round-up of what happened.

The panel

Patrick Harvie: Scottish Greens co-convener
Ruth Davidson: Scottish Conservative leader
Kezia Dugdale: Scottish Labour leader
Nicola Sturgeon: SNP leader
Willie Rennie: Scottish Liberal Democrat leader

The questions

1. What specific plans do you have to create more jobs?
2. If a majority of Scots are in favour of a second independence referendum, who are politicians to deny this?
3. How are you going to continue to protect the health budget with ever growing austerity?
4. Given the Edinburgh school fiasco, how would politicians ensure money goes to the right people to safeguard our community?

The arguments
The question of Scottish independence dominates the last televised debate between the leaders of Holyrood's main political parties
The debate took on a lively tone, with arguments kicking off on jobs, independence and health.
The first proper clash was sparked when Nicola Sturgeon accused Ruth Davidson's Conservative party of "betrayal" over pledges of Clyde shipyard work.
Health also brought claim and counter-claim, with Kezia Dugdale defending Labour pledges on the NHS.
But it was the recurring theme of indyref, indyref2 and where it leaves the voters and politicians that brought out strong reactions from the audience and the leaders.
The debate raised questions of democracy, respect for the electorate and accusations of pulling wool over eyes.
