Two reports looking into what can be done to solve traffic problems in Bath have been released by the local council.

They cover topics like a controversial new park and ride east of Bath at Bathampton Meadows and a new link road between the A46 and A36.

Bristol Rovers boss Darrell Clarke has urged his players to play with 'no fear' as they try to win promotion.

Rovers are up to fourth in League Two, one point off the automatic promotion places with two matches remaining, after beating Exeter on Saturday.

"No games are easy at this part of the season. Players are playing for their futures," Clarke told BBC Radio Bristol.

"Let's enjoy it. Let's not have the fear-factor. You just keep going."

A champion fell-runner has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a former England and Bristol rugby star. 

Ralph Knibbs played more than 400 times for Bristol in the 1980s and 90s. 

He was stabbed at the UK Athletics offices in Birmingham last month. 

Lauren Jeska, 41, (pictured) was remanded in custody until a further hearing in June.

A Bristol man who pogo jumped the fastest-ever marathon has been stripped of his world record. 

Jack Sexty thought he'd bounced all 26.2 miles of the Great Manchester Marathon two years ago. 

But UK Athletics say the course that year was 80 metres short and have invalidated all of the results. 

But not all is lost - he still has this world record from last year - for the most consecutive bounces. 

Bristol's Old Vic has taken delivery of some special coins marking the 250th anniversary of the theatre.

The special gold and silver 'tickets' have been shaped as coins to mimic the ones that were given to the original founders more than two centuries ago, allowing them free entry to all theatre performances.

They're being sold to raise money for the multi-million pound redevelopment and more than 40 have already been bought.

As you can see they look stunning but you'll need around £50,000 for each one.

The lido is the oldest in the UK and the Cleveland Pools Trust now wants to raise £5.2m to restore it to its former glory and they want to hear your views.

BBC Radio Bristol has been speaking to people who feel they'll be affected by a new clampdown on rules by the Canal and River Trust.

Continuous cruiser licences require canal boat owners to move up to 20 miles in a year.

But as some bend the rules to stay roughly in the same place, the trust says it's taking action to stop overcrowding.

A fundraiser to protect Arnos Vale cemetery raised nearly £8,000 on Saturday night.

As the sum is being match-funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, a total of £15,000 will go into the coffers.

All of the entertainment acts chosen for the fundraiser had family ties to the cemetery or had played there before, such as the Totterdown Chango Drummers.
