Special Olympics: 'I'm the only girl in the team'

Kayaker Kathryn Smith, 33, is competing for Team GB in the Special Olympics currently being held in Los Angeles.

Kathryn is the only woman on the eight-strong kayaking team, but says she wants to win for the girls back in Great Britain.

She started kayaking at the age of 12 and previously competed at the Shanghai Games in 2007.

However, as one of the older competitors in her division, she will have to work hard to keep up with her rivals.
