Women land majority of NY honours

Actresses Angela Lansbury and Penelope Keith become dames in the New Year's Honours list, which features a record-breaking proportion of women.

For the first time, women make up the majority of the recipients, who also include football boss Karren Brady and Ruth Jones, the co-creator of TV series Gavin and Stacey.
