Gerry Adams 'questioned for 17 hours a day' over McConville murder

A source close to Gerry Adams has told the BBC that the Sinn Fein leader is being questioned for up to 17 hours a day by detectives investigating the murder of Jean McConville.

Mr Adams, who's spent his fourth night in police custody, denies any involvement in the death of Mrs McConville, a widow and mother of ten, who was abducted in 1972.

Nick Higham reports.
