Blencathra sale: Cumbrian locals bid to buy mountain

The deadline has now passed for bidders hoping to purchase a mountain in the Lake District which went on the market in May with a guide price of £1.75m.

A community group has been trying to raise enough cash to buy Blencathra for the nation and has submitted its offer, as Jenny Hill reports.
