'The RAF was his other family'

Earlier this year Flight Lieutenant Rakesh Chauhan, 29, from Leicestershire, was killed along with four others when their helicopter came down in Afghanistan.

His father Kishor has spoken to Sheetan Parmar of the BBC's Asian Network ahead of the Remembrance Day weekend.

Mr Chauhan said his son had always watched the ceremony at the Cenotaph because the military was like "another family".
