Tributes paid to Alan Henning at a memorial service

Family and friends of murdered aid worker Alan Henning attended a private service at Eccles Parish Church in Eccles, Greater Manchester.

His widow said he was killed "for being what we should be, selfless and caring".

Following the service his family laid flowers at his memorial plaque.
