Home Secretary Theresa May is announcing new measures in response to the UK's increased terror threat level.
Mrs May is setting out parts of the Counter Terrorism and Security Bill, which will be introduced to Parliament this week, at an event in London.
The UK's terror threat level was raised from "substantial" to "severe" earlier this year in response to conflicts in Iraq and Syria.
