Family Drug and Alcohol Courts to be extended in England

A pioneering approach for helping families in care cases is to be extended.

The Family Drug and Alcohol Court will be rolled out to six new areas across England.

Based on an American model, the "problem solving" approach is designed to stop parents abusing alcohol and drugs in order to keep families together.
