Whittingdale: "We have the facilities" to host World Cup

The Culture Secretary says England could step in and host football's World Cup in 2022 if it's stripped from Qatar.

The offer comes amid continuing allegations of corruption and bribery in the running of the game's governing body Fifa.

John Whittingdale told the Commons that England had the facilities in the event of a formal request.
