Derbyshire flat fire: 'Flames were going up the stairs'

Three people have died and five have been injured in a flat fire in Derbyshire.

A man, a woman, and a young girl were pronounced dead at the scene, in North Street, Langley Mill.

Eyewitness Craig McFarlane described the scene as people gathered, trying to help.

"The flames were going so quickly up the stairs in the flats, they didn't stand a chance," he said.
