Commons would vote ahead of Syria strikes, says Fallon

Defence Secretary Michael Fallon has paved the way for air strikes against Islamic State fighters in Syria, saying the Islamist group needed to be targeted "at source".

But Mr Fallon said no action would be taken without a Commons vote and "consensus" among MPs.
