Lancashire water bug investigation continues

More than 300,000 homes in Lancashire are facing days of having to boil their tap water before drinking, because of a parasite which causes stomach upsets.

Some shops are selling out of bottled water, as investigations continue into how traces of cryptosporidium were found at a treatment works in Preston.
