Lorry blaze closes M6

There have been long delays on the M6 in Staffordshire after a lorry caught fire on Wednesday.

The motorway was closed southbound between junction 16 and 15 but is expected to re-open from 22:00 BST.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said 25 firefighters fought the blaze.

Aerial footage showed smoke from the lorry, which was carrying MDF wood, billowing across the motorway.
