Police Scotland apologise over dementia woman's death

Police in Scotland investigating the disappearance of an 88-year-old woman with dementia have apologised to her family after information about a possible sighting wasn't handed on to the inquiry team.

Janet McKay's body was found eight days after she was reported missing from her home in Glasgow.

The incident raises further questions for the force, which is already under scrutiny, as Colin Blane reports.
