Ayeeshia Jane Smith : Mother found guilty of murder

The mother of 21-month-old Ayeeshia Jane Smith has been found guilty of her murder.

Kathryn Smith, 23, had most likely caused her daughter's death by stamping on her, causing injuries usually seen in car crash victims.

Her partner Matthew Rigby was cleared of murder but convicted of causing or allowing the child's death.
