A pedestrian has died in hospital after he was struck by a car in Hertfordshire.
The 29-year-old man was on Hatfield Road, Smallford, at about 0200 GMT on Sunday when he was hit by a white Toyota Previa.
The man, who was from the St Albans area, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II hospital in Welwyn Garden City but later died.
No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
