Police are trying to find a man who has gone missing after a fire at a bungalow where he is believed to live in Flitwick, Bedfordshire.
Fire crews were called to the blaze at the address in Lime Close in the morning.
The property was "extensively smoke damaged due the amount of combustible materials in the property", said the Bedfordshire and Luton Fire Service.
A single man, who is thought to live in the property, is unaccounted for.
"Firefighters continue to search the bungalow and police are making inquiries as to his whereabouts," said a fire service spokeswoman.
