A mobility scooter user had to be rescued after his vehicle drove into a river.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, entered the water near Landau Way, Broxbourne, on Tuesday.
The East of England Ambulance Service said he was taken to hospital, but that he was well.
Hertfordshire Police said the incident was reported by a passer-by, who saw him fall in. The force is treating it as an accident.
