River Loddon is clogged with rubbish causing a flooding risk, residents complain
A river has become clogged up with rubbish, causing a risk of flooding to nearby homes and businesses, say residents.
The Earley Neighbourhood Action Group are concerned about flooding in the River Loddon where it passes the Showcase Cinema in Winnersh, Berkshire.
People living nearby say the river has become shallower and its banks are being eroded away.
The Environment Agency said it planned to clear rubbish and vegetation from the river by February 2017.
