Body found in search for missing Beatrice Stafford

Police searching for a missing 83-year-old woman have found a body.

Beatrice Stafford, also known as Mary, was last seen getting off a bus in Maidenhead, Berkshire on Sunday 6 November.

Earlier the police had asked residents in the area to check their gardens and outhouses for Ms Stafford.

The body was recovered in land near Maidenhead Golf Club on Sunday. Thames Valley Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
