Two lorries and a car crashed in the early hours of the morning

A three-vehicle crash on the A14 in Cambridgeshire has caused major delays for commuters.

Two lorries and a car were involved in the accident on the westbound carriageway at Fenstanton at about 05:00 BST.

The cab of one lorry was completely detached, but no-one was injured, police said.

The road was closed for several hours between junctions 31 and 26 but reopened at about 09:30 BST

The M11 was also closed northbound between junctions 13 for Cambridge and 14 for Girton to prevent traffic joining the A14.
