Addenbrooke's trust 'improving', former chief says
The former chief executive at Addenbrooke's Hospital says many failings brought up by the Care Quality Commission had been addressed before it was put into special measures.
Dr Keith McNeil said most patients were also satisfied with the outcome of their care at Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Rosie Birthing Centre.
But he fully admitted that the processes underpinning the care were not as robust as they should have been.
"These issues were being address or had been sorted," Dr McNeil said.
