Colin Payne's body was found in Helston on Sunday
A 54-year-old St Austell man has appeared in court charged with a the murder of a man found dead in a Helston flat.
Alexander Channer was remanded in custody to 14 September at Truro Crown Court. He made no plea.
The body of Colin Payne, 72, was discovered in a flat at Sanctuary Lane in Helston at about 19:30 BST on Sunday.
No application for bail was made for Channer.
