The show has only ever been cancelled once before in 109 years
A popular agricultural show in Cornwall has been postponed because of heavy rain.
The committee of the Liskeard Show decided to postpone the show from 14 July until 8 September.
The adverse weather conditions mean the ground where the show is held is currently too muddy to cope with livestock or vehicle movement.
In 109 years the show has only been cancelled once and that was due to the foot and mouth disease outbreak.
A spokesman from the show said: "There are a record number of cattle, sheep and horse entries this year and the committee are hopeful that the exhibitors, competitors and indeed spectators will support them on the new date."
