A man has been seriously injured in a crash involving a car and a fire engine responding to a 999 call.
The collision happened at the junction of Hinkley Road and Higham Lane in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, at about 23:00 GMT on Wednesday.
The 45-year-old driver of a Ford Mondeo was taken to Coventry's University Hospital.
Warwickshire Police is investigating the crash and has appealed for witnesses to get in contact.
