Sameena Imam chloroform murder 'like something off TV'

A senior police officer who investigated the murder of Sameena Imam said the cause of her death was so unusual it was like "something you see on TV or in fiction".

Det Ch Insp Caroline Marsh, of West Midlands Police, was speaking after brothers Roger Cooper, 41, of Coventry, and David Cooper, 39, of Leicester, were convicted at Birmingham Crown Court of Ms Imam's murder.

David Cooper told police in an interview he had used chloroform on Ms Imam, who was his brother's lover.
