The pills can be dangerous if taken with alcohol
Police have issued a warning after hundreds of tranquiliser tablets were stolen during a burglary at a chemist shop in Cumbria.
Raiders smashed the front window of Boots, in Market Street, Ulverston, in the early hours of Friday and took 250 diazepam pills.
They also took perfumes and electrical items during the raid.
The pills, which are used to treat anxiety disorders, are highly addictive and dangerous if taken with alcohol.
Cumbria Police are advising anyone who finds the tablets to hand them in to the nearest police station.
