A woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault by a man who had offered to accompany her on her walk home in Essex on Saturday night.
The 24-year-old victim was in London Road, Grays, between 1115 GMT and 0030 GMT, when a man described as eastern European and aged 20 to 30 joined her.
He walked with her for a while before attacking her.
Police said he had short dark hair and was wearing a grey top and jeans. They have urged witnesses to contact them.
