The bodies of a man and woman, believed to be a married couple in their 30s, have been found in a flat on the Isle of Wight.
The pair were discovered by police inside the flat in Regal Court, High Street, Shanklin, at 1827 BST.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight police spokeswoman said officers were investigating how and when they died.
The property was cordoned off while house-to-house inquiries were made and post-mortem tests are due to be held.
Det Ch Insp Ben Snuggs said: "It is very early stages in the investigation."
