About 60 firefighters have tackled a blaze at a Hampshire restaurant during the early hours.
The fire broke out at the Aleha Cuisine in Commercial Road, Southampton, at about 0300 GMT.
Residents living in flats above and surrounding the restaurant, opposite the Mayflower Theatre, were evacuated because of the risk of an explosion.
An investigation has been launched by police and the fire service into the cause of the blaze.
