A 19-year old man has died following a hit and run crash in Hampshire.
He was walking on the unlit A287 between Crondall and the start of the Odiham bypass during heavy rain between 02:30 and 03:30 BST when he was struck by a car.
The car then continued towards Odiham without stopping. Police said it is likely to have damaged its front, headlight and windscreen.
The man was found by a passer-by and later died from his injuries.
The road has been closed while police investigate the scene.
