The fire started in the bedroom of a terraced house in Pen Close, Andover
An elderly woman has died in a house fire in Hampshire on Saturday morning.
Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service was called to the terraced house in Pen Close, Andover at 06:15 GMT after reports of the fire.
A spokeswoman for the service said the blaze had started in the bedroom but the cause of the fire was "unknown at this stage".
She added no-one else was in the house and an investigation was under way.
Next of kin have been informed but the woman has yet to be formally identified.
