Police have spoken of their concern for the well-being of a 15-year-old girl from Winchester who went missing on Friday.

Jessica Horton was last seen at about 20:00 BST at a youth club at Wesley Methodist Church, Fromond Road.

Police said she is not thought to have access to any money or taken her asthma medication with her.

CCTV footage of the teenager at Winchester station has been released.

Officers said they are keen to hear from the two men in the CCTV image as well as anyone else at the station on Friday evening.

She is 5ft 3in tall with light brown hair and wore a grey Duffer sweatshirt, black leggings and black Nike trainers.

Police have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the Weeke area of Winchester and distributing posters as part of the search.

Det Insp Tim Ireson of Hampshire Police said: "We are really concerned about Jessica and need to know that she's OK, especially because her physical health may be deteriorating.

"I'd like to appeal directly to Jessica to say that she's not in any trouble; we just need to know where she is and that she's OK."

Jessica is said to be familiar with Reading, Newbury, Plymouth and parts of Wiltshire.

Kathryn Marshall, deputy head teacher of The Westgate School in Winchester, where Jessica is a pupil, said: "We are all really worried about Jess and would like to let her know that she's not in any trouble, we just want her to come home.

"Her close friends and everyone else at school would like to appeal directly to Jess to come home and be with people who care about her."
