More than 350 pigs have died in an arson attack on an East Yorkshire farm, according to Humberside Police.

The fire at Beeford also caused more than £340,000 worth of damage.

Police said the blaze was started sometime between 20:00 on Sunday and 01:40 on Monday.

Firefighters said they believed it was lit in a shed with 300 tonnes of straw, before spreading to an adjacent large steel barn with agricultural machinery and a pig pen.
