A 72-year-old man was arrested after a woman's body was found at a property in Ashford.
Ambulance crews who went to the property in Ripley Road, Willesborough, alerted Kent Police on Saturday afternoon.
A spokesman for the force said the arrested man was known to the victim, also in her 70s.
Police later said the death was being treated as non-suspicious and the arrested man had been released.
