A 43-year-old man has died after being attacked on a street in Leicester.
Fabio Fanfarillo was found injured on Tuesday afternoon in Winchester Avenue at about 15:30 BST.
He was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary, before being transferred to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre where he died earlier.
A 50-year-old man, charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, was remanded in custody on Thursday at Leicester Magistrates' Court.
