Ray and Angela Fisher loved to travel, their family said

About 200 people have attended the funeral of Ray and Angela Fisher who died in the Tunisian beach attack.

Ray Fisher, 75, was killed with his wife Angela, 69, and 36 other people in the attack in Sousse on 26 June.

The funeral, held in Leicester, included tributes from their son and daughter, who said they were "sad beyond words".

Rev Stephen Burnham said about the couple: "They had a deep love and so much enjoyed getting old together."

Mourners at St Anne's Parish Church in Western Park heard the couple loved to travel and meet new people.

Son Adam and daughter Donna said it was "a source of comfort they were enjoying a holiday when they were taken".

Donna added: "Dad loved to travel and share a drink with others. He was very friendly and full of gusto. It was perhaps apt, or ironic, that he died on holiday."

Adam Fisher said his regret was his parents would not be around to see him get married or start a family.

Ray Fisher's brother, Roland, described him as a typical Leicester lad, who liked fishing and kept birds of prey.
