Samuel Garner was killed three days before his 18th birthday
The parents of a boy killed in a hit-and-run crash involving a stolen BMW have pleaded with the driver to "find some compassion" and come forward.
Samuel Garner was killed on Sunday night, three days before he was due to turn 18.
The Leicester City fan had spent the day with family watching his team's 1-1 draw against Manchester United, and intended to stay in that evening.
However, he decided to go out to celebrate a friend's 18th birthday.
His father, Scott Garner, said: "To the person that was driving the car or the others in the car please try and find some compassion and do the right thing if you've got any sort of heart whatsoever, because you will also more than anyone regret it forever if you don't come forward.
"Help us, help Samuel, come forward please."

Scott and Tracie Garner made an emotional appeal for information about their son's death
Samuel's father explained how his son had a lot to look forward to over the coming weeks.
The family were due to go to Prague the day after Samuel was killed, and he was excited about going on a plane for the first time since he was about four years old.
Birthday and new job
"He was going to stay in because we were going to Prague the next day to a trip that Tracie had saved up for to take Samuel to Prague for a birthday treat," said his father.
"He was looking forward to going out to a nightclub on the following weekend after he was 18 to buy his first beer or dance around.
"The Monday after that he was starting his new job, which he found himself and got himself to the interviews."
Samuel was hit in Welford Road outside Leicester Prison just after 23:00 BST on Sunday.
One of his friends has described how she tried to pull him away from the stolen black BMW 5 Series, which was later found burned out in Whetstone.
