Tommy Blackmore, 20, from Bermondsey, was found critically injured near Tower Bridge
A man who admitted killing a charity fundraiser with a single punch has been jailed for five-and-a-half years.
Lloyd Smythe, 29, of Bermondsey, south-east London, admitted the manslaughter of Tommy Blackmore earlier this week.
Mr Blackmore, 20, was found fatally injured in June, after getting caught up in a fight on Queen Elizabeth Street.
His family has described him as "a gentle, hard-working young man with a bright future ahead".
Mr Blackmore, a dedicated fundraiser and a Millwall football fan, had helped the Fight 4 Cancer campaign to raise £32,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Police said an argument involving a "number of men and women" had erupted in Tower Bridge Road and then spilled out into Queen Elizabeth Street, in the early hours of 13 June.
Officers called to the scene found the victim in a critical condition and he died later in hospital.
At the time of Smythe's guilty plea, Mr Blackmore's relatives said in a statement: "We are grieving for the man he would have become, the man we will never get to see."
